A Tailored Orthotic Approach to Elevating Your Mobility

Elevate Orthotics was created to facilitate orthotic services in the private sector around Cheshire and Staffordshire.
A specialised HCPC Registered Orthotic Clinician will take time to listen to your history, symptoms and individual goals. A gait analysis and comprehensive biomechanical assessment will be undertaken in the initial appointment.
The clinician and yourself will work together to determine the best course of action to achieve your goals with a tailored orthotic solution. Communication, empathy and understanding are vital to the service and to achieve the optimal results.
Elevate Orthotics works closely with Orthopaedic Consultants, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, the community and anyone involved in your care. We take a holistic approach ensuring your needs and goals are at the centre and are the most important part of the service. We use evidence based science along with years of patient based expertise to create the most beneficial orthotic plan to enhance your quality of life and elevate your potential.

Meet the Team
Laura grew up in Canada where she loved playing sports and helping others. She wanted a career where she could combine her love for anatomy and biomechanics with problem solving and helping others to live the best lives they can. She began by completing a degree in Kinesiology at the University of Manitoba, Canada. Here she increased her knowledge of the human body and how it works in movement. As part of the degree she completed a placement at the Children's Hospital in the Orthotics and Prosthetics Department. She learned from the Clinicians and Technicians as well as the patients on this placement. It was here she fell in love with the industry. She can still remember a young patient exclaiming "Look, I'm standing" to his mom and the sheer joy on everyone's faces in that appointment.
Laura then went on to working as an Orthotic Technician while applying for Prosthetic and Orthotic higher education. She obtained a place at the University of Salford, England in their Prosthetics and Orthotics program.
Laura made the big move Across the Pond to complete her studies and gain expertise in the service. Since graduating she has worked in Canada as a Resident Orthotist and Certified Pedorthist in the private sector expanding her knowledge and clinical experience.
She moved back to England with her family and has been working in the NHS contracted Orthotic Services and attending to a large range of caseloads and MDT clinics. She has attended specialised paediatric clinics, Diabetic clinics and much more. She has a variety of experience and a breadth of knowledege of all areas of Orthotics and Orthotic Services.
Laura loves to be active and travel with her family. She plays football on a ladies social team and enjoys the camaraderie, teamwork and exercise that comes with playing football. She can be seen baking and enjoying the outdoors as much as possible as well as attending a few Park Runs on a Saturday and Junior Park Runs on a Sunday. In the summer she goes camping and swims and paddles in the sea whenever possible. She looks forward to helping others achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through the use of orthotics.
